I am tired. As it turns out I did get called in. It is a good thing. If I don't get called in I don't get paid. Almost everything got crammed in after work, except the floor scrubbing and trying to find the draft. The meatloaf turned out good, I used crushed Chex mix instead of breadcrumbs and put grated sharp cheddar on top.

Art

Today was art class. Today was also payday. Whooo Hooo! I like payday. It usually is spent before I get it but I still like opening it up and seeing what I got.
Tomorrow is not on my schedule to work, but being on call, can change that. I should know by 7:15am if I am needed. Otherwise it will be a trip to the bank, Sam's club to spend most of what I get from the bank. It will also mean try to get caught up on laundry, give the floors a good scrubbing, and find the draft in the kitchen. We just put in some new windows so I know it isn't them anymore. I need to figure out what I am making for dinner tomorrow night, I haven't the foggiest. Maybe meat loaf and potatoes, I haven't made that in a while. Oh yeah, and pay a few bills. If I do get called in it will be school and then all of the other stuff crammed in afterward. I hate going to Sam's club after 5.

Had a tiring day today. We had standardized testing in school. It is so hard for the kids to have the tests and then try to handle an altered schedule for the rest of the day. They are already having a hard time with the loss of a week because of the snow.

Thought I lost this blog. Not sure how it found me again but it is a good thing.

First Day

Today has been a wonderful day! We started it with homemade blueberry pancakes. I will post the recipe a little later on. Last night we got to see beautiful fireworks on the lake. The reflections on the water just made them that much more impressive. Going to try to stay out of the heat today, but I am sure we will go for a ride on the boat later.
